Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

Note: WorkPlanner is currently in pre-launch. This policy reflects our waitlist data handling. It will be updated with full detail before the official product launch.

1. Data Controller

WorkPlanner is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and the waitlist service. For GDPR enquiries, please contact us at [email protected]. We are based in Denmark and operate under Danish and EU data protection law.

2. What We Collect

During the pre-launch waitlist phase, we collect only the following personal data:

  • Email address — provided voluntarily when joining the waitlist
  • Timestamp — when you submitted your email (for operational purposes)

We do not collect your name, phone number, IP address, or any other personal data during the waitlist phase. We do not use tracking pixels or analytics scripts on this page.

3. Purpose & Legal Basis

We process your email address for the following purposes:

  • Launch notification — to inform you when WorkPlanner becomes publicly available. Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Early access & launch pricing — to provide promised benefits to early sign-ups. Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing via the unsubscribe page or by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

4. Retention Period

Your email address will be retained for the duration of the pre-launch period. If you have not converted to a paying customer within 30 days of the official product launch, your email address will be permanently deleted from our systems. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 6 (Your Rights) below.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Email delivery providers — to send you the launch notification email. These providers act as data processors under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
  • Hosting infrastructure — our servers are hosted in the EU.

No personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to restriction — request we restrict processing of your data

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The waitlist page does not use cookies, local storage tracking, or analytics scripts. No tracking data is collected about your visit. When you become a customer, our application will use essential session cookies only — no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, or disclosure. Email addresses are stored in an encrypted database with access controls. We do not store passwords or payment information during the waitlist phase.

9. Contact

For any privacy-related questions or to exercise your rights, contact our data protection contact at [email protected]. We aim to respond to all requests within 5 business days.
